The Italo Cescon wine growing and producing company was established on 1957 not so far from Treviso city by its brave founder Italo Cescon and today is managed with the same passion and love by his children Gloria, Graziella and Domenico, together with Mother Chiara. Preserving the secrets and the memories of their Father, nowadays keeping the tradition handed down with a scrupulous research of quality. They produce wines Doc Piave, Doc Friuli and Doc Valdobbiadene.
Friuli Pinot Grigio
TASTING NOTES:
Rich straw yellow colour, intense aroma, with a slight note of nutmeg, peach and acacia blossom. Dry, crisp, full flavoured, with complex fruit fragrances, in particular orange zest. Serving suggestions Enjoy with shellfish and with seafood dishes in general.
Chardonnay
TASTING NOTES:
Straw-yellow colour with pale green highlights. Delicate aroma elegant, with notes of apple, banana and crusty bread. Fresh, fruity, with full and complex flavours.
Serving suggestions Enjoy with fish, either poached or baked.
Pinot Noir
TASTING NOTES:
Ruby red colour, elegant aroma, suggesting fruit and rose petals. Full flavoured with abundant spice notes and lengthy finish.
Serving suggestions Enjoy with roasts, of both light and red meat, game.
Raboso Del Piave
TASTING NOTES:
Intense medium ruby red colour, lively and fruity nose, deep notes of Morello, very pleasant bouquet. Dry and clean taste with a strong body, acidity and tannins. Rounded matching wood notes with a velvety aftertaste. Serving suggestions: roasted red meat, game, poultry, duck with orange sauce, beef stew, aged hard cheese.
Merlot
TASTING NOTES:
Dense ruby red colour, Intense aroma, with pronounced fruit and spice, Warm and generous taste, dry, full bodied with a lengthy finish.
Serving suggestions: Enjoy with roast light meats, poultry and giblets.
Valpolicella Ripasso
TASTING NOTES:
Intense ruby red colour, pleasantly fruity, a soft taste but with a rich and lush long finish.
Serving suggestions: Game birds, Roast or grilled meat and semi aged cheese.
Amarone della Valpolicella
TASTING NOTES:
Deep medium ruby red. The bouquet is typical, jammy, with red berries fruits and dried figs notes, balsamic and spicy. The taste is balanced, fine and velvety, fresh and savory, with round tannins and a long finish. Ageing: 24 months in Slavonia oak casks of 20/30 or 50 hl, then a fast stop of 5/6 months in new tonneaux
Madre
TASTING NOTES:
Bright straw yellow colour with greenish highlights, elegant and generious nose, scents of yellow peach, acacia, lime peel and aromatic herbs give way to mineral and salty hints with aging. The taste exhibits vivacious elegance and vintality enhanced by freshness. Well balanced with good acidity and embracing softness. A wine that lasts well.
Tesirare BiancoGrigio
TASTING NOTES:
Intense straw yellow with greenish nuance. The nose offers, a succession of sensations like crunchy fresh fruit, golden apple and pear, which alternate with hints of white flowers among which linden and jasmine stand out. On the palate it is fresh, silky, long, of great balance, with a perfectly integrated mineral vein, aromatic complexity & an aftertaste of considerable impact and persistence
Tesirare InSe Late Harvest Manzoni Bianco
TASTING NOTES:
Golden color with amber reflections to the eye, intense scent of dates and chestnut, dried apricot, candied orange and notes of chestnut honey. In the mouth it is enveloping and persistent, pleasantly sweet and warm, with fine and elegant tannins.
Tesirare Grigioramato Skin Contact Pinot Grigio
TASTING NOTES:
Copper and orange in color, slightly hazed due to lack of filtration. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit and mandarin, hints of ripe apricot, licorice, light notes of mint and pine. The palate is full and enveloping, fresh, with delicate tannins and a mineral finish. Goes perfectly with frying, fish-based appetizers and white meats. Curious with aged and blue cheeses. Also with oriental cuisine.
